“A very comfortable place to stay with
excellent service”
Aaron Lodge hosts Ted and Dot Baigan, made us feel like long
lost friends providing friendly and efficient service. The
room was very comfortable combining old world charm with
modern facilities. Meals in the restaurant were most
enjoyable.

“Top score in all departments. Ted and
Dot made us feel one of the family.”
The bedrooms and en-suite are equipped to a very high
standard, (My wife rather fancied the quality of the bathroom
fittings)! Friendly and helpful attendance was afforded at all
times. Breakfast and dinner menus are varied, efficiently
prepared and served piping hot, with excellent service given
in a quiet and friendly manner.
The bus service to the City stops right outside and is
staggeringly plentiful and cheap (£1-20p at this time).
I recommend any one travelling to Edinburgh to stay at Aaron
Lodge. Ted and Dot will ensure you will enjoy your stay with
them.

“A Modern Oasis in an Historic City”
The rooms are modern and equipped with everything you may
need, including a wide screen TV. The conservatory is spacious
and extremely bright & comfortable.
Our hosts (Dot & Ted) were always there for us when we needed
them. Not only are the facilities great, but the location is
perfect - close to both downtown and the city bypass. We are
looking forward to a return visit in the near future.

“Well presented hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff and generous breakfast.”
We received a warm friendly welcome upon arrival. The room was
very clean and spacious. It had hairdryer, kettle, tea and
coffee, large flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi and a huge comfy bed.
The bathroom had a large walk in shower - no bath. Breakfast
was excellent -help yourself to choice of cereals, fruit,
yoghurt, then cooked breakfast, tea or coffee and toast.
The hotel is on main bus route into town and we only waited a
few minutes before a bus came even on Sunday. The bus gets you
into town in about 10-15 minutes and you can buy a day ticket.
Leave your car in the car park at the rear of the hotel.
Would definitely stay here again. Also reasonably priced.

“Just great in every way.”
Four of us stayed at the Aaron Lodge over Easter, after
reading all the previous reviews on Trip Advisor. It was all
as these reviews, great welcome, great rooms, great breakfast
and great location.
Really good value break, thanks very much Ted & Dot.

“HOME FROM HOME.”
Stayed at Aaron Lodge while our son was ill in nearby ERI, in
fact we were able to book rooms for six people by telephone
from the hospital foyer.Ted and Dot were very kind and helped us through a very
difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff are
friendly. The accommodation is spacious and very comfortable.
We hope to return in the future when our son is fully
recovered.

Dear Ted and Dot,
I am a guest that stayed with you approximately one
month ago. I'm writing to you both to thank you for the
warm friendly personal touch I received while staying at
your guest house. The purpose of visit was primarily for
professional reasons relating to health care, however
thanks to your advice and direction, the time spent was
a pure delight. I have passed some of your business
cards to my local hospital where by I have recommended
your accommodation for the use of other doctors studying
in Edinburgh to greatly consider staying with your
homely and welcoming guest house. Not only is the
personal service excellent, the rooms are very spacious
and affordable, access to the city is easily attained by
taxi or the local bus service. The morning breakfast is
enough to prolong your visit for another few days, given
the chance!! Once again thank you both so much for your
kindness and hospitality, it did not go unnoticed nor
unappreciated.
Best of luck and kind regards,
Dr Puneet Mehrotra. |
